“Her name is Sauce,” the client continues. “What is your name?”
Her name is Sauce?! Jiang Cheng personally thinks that using food to name pets is more ridiculous than most owners might think, but he’s not here to judge. This name is a cute name.
What a damn smooth way to ask Jiang Cheng for his name, though.
“I’m Jiang Cheng, and you?”
The client takes a while to reply, and he uses this time to walk to the counter Jiang Cheng is at. He leans on it, his body folding forward and his chin length hair also tilts forward around his face. He’s much closer than he’s been before, and Jiang Cheng uses the best of his self control to not step away.
Jiang Cheng can see freckles on the bridge of his nose, now that they’re so close. He also definitely checks up on the client’s full lips when he smiles.
“I’m Lan Jingyi.”
In which Lan Jingyi has a dog, but said dog (known as Sauce), decides that peeing on Jiang Cheng’s bookstore is a great idea. Plus, Jiang Cheng has a damn crush on a damn cute dog owner.
